A Wonderful Stay at Pheasant Barn – Wooladon Estate We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pheasant Barn. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a great deal of thought and care had gone into making guests feel genuinely welcome. The thoughtful welcome provisions were a particularly lovely touch, including scones with cream and jam, fresh bread, two pints of milk, and even a 10% discount voucher for Strawberry Fields. It's these little extras that make such a difference and create such a positive first impression. We were particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage and the excellent facilities on offer. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, with everything you could possibly need to prepare a home-cooked meal. It was clear that considerable thought had gone into ensuring guests had everything they needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The surroundings were equally delightful. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful walks around the estate, particularly our visit down to the carp lake and exploring the surrounding countryside. For us, Wooladon Estate provided a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of Exeter, somewhere we could genuinely relax, unwind and appreciate the beautiful surroundings. We would happily return and are already considering another visit during the winter, perhaps in the New Year. We would certainly recommend Pheasant Barn to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside break, particularly those travelling with one or two dogs. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, and somewhere we would love to visit again!

Beautiful barn with just about everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beautiful surroundings ideal for a wedding occasion.  Amazing food for the wedding reception.  Friendly,  helpful staff. Myself and my new wife have just had our wedding at Wooladon at the end of May. The location is fantastic, with a lovely lakes for the pictures, and loads of space for everyone. The manor house was lush, and lovely for an evening before party for the wedding. The barn is so rustic with country vibes, perfect for that theme wedding. The team at Wooladon could not have done more for us on the day and the lead up, shout out for Kate and Jasmin for everything they did. Could not recommend this venue more

I can't comment on guest accommodation but a lot of work has gone into making this an attractive venue. The service and food were great. I really enjoyed the tasty hot buffet. A choice of meat dishes and sides also salads. I would recommend a little more signage, some friends said they were a little confused on the lanes when they came off the main road.

From the moment we headed down the driveway of Wooladon Estate, we knew it was our dream venue; it is stunning. We got married here in November and it was the most incredible weekend. Kate, Shona, and the whole team were absolutely amazing - so attentive, supportive, and helpful - and all our guests raved about what a beautiful venue it is. We cannot recommend Wooladon highly enough. If you want beauty, exclusivity, space, relaxation, and the freedom to design your own dream, this is everything you could ask for.
